Sr. Riffat Sheikh has been in the field of Islamic education for children for over 20 years. She has been the CEO/Director/Founder of The Muslim Academy for 10 years, an academy that reaches students worldwide and currently houses three divisions - The Muslim Academy Online Islamic School, Elevation Hifdh Academy, and Al Shajarah Forest School. 

 

Born and raised in the US, she has been in the field of dawah for over 20 years, from one-on-one personal dawah to classes and lectures in various masaajid in the US. She ran a new converts national support group as well as an online call to Islam group and an international Islamic newsletter. She has learned from scholars from Saudi, Yemen, Egypt, and other countries including teachers from her locality. 

Sr. Riffat, born and raised in the US, is a genetically verified descendant of our beloved Prophets Ibrahim, Ishaaq, and Yaqub 'alayhumus- salaam, and is from the family of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Sahar Khan has been in the field of education since 1996.  She is the VP for Islamic Society of Greater Lakeland, Florida, USA, which is a non-profit organization that works to foster continuous development of the Muslim community, inter-faith relations, and civic engagement with a spirit of volunteerism.

While majoring in Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Computer Science, and Communications during college, she also taught various mathematics courses at college level.  After graduating and getting married, she decided to devote her time to homeschooling her two children. 

She was the Coordinator for Jeddah Homeschoolers' Network (JHN) for four years during which she planned and executed educational and extracurricular activities along with providing classes for new homeschooling mothers to teach them how to homeschool (creating curriculum, lesson planning, and parenting). 

She has two children aged 18 and 15.  Her eldest graduated high school at the age of 15 and received his Associates in Arts degree (Summa Cum Laude) at the same time.  He is currently a senior at university majoring in computer science and pre-medicine and plans to start medical school next year in shaa Allaah.  Her 15-year-old just finished her first semester in college while still being homeschooled in 10th grade.

MRS. QURRATHUL AYN MAHIR 
With more than 20 years of Administrative and Entrepreneurial experience, Mrs. Qurrathul Ayn Mahir is a highly dedicated and committed professional. Holding a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Middlesex UK, she has a successful record of accomplishment in having the ability to coordinate with all levels of personnel. Her years of working in schools, and owning and operating educational institutions in the UAE, Sri Lanka, and Malaysia add to a strong value in operations at SkySCHOOL. She is well known for her work with educators, educational models and for supporting strategic and operational development in different educational settings. 

 

MRS. RAHMAH CAREEM
A professional with 25 years of experience in education in Asia and the Middle East, Rahmah comes with vast exposure to multicultural environments, along with a degree in Islamic Studies from Saudi Arabia, UK Cambridge qualified in teaching. She is accomplished in organizing the primary and secondary curriculum, assisting in collaborating with other professionals to provide the highest level of education to every learner. Rahmah has taken rudimentary programs and turned them into industry-standard methods which schools have adopted as their essential learning module. She has been a key participant in a number of Professional Development workshops. In addition to her academic accolades, she has led and organized major school events. Her rapport and ability to put learners at ease have been significant elements from the onset of her career. 

 

📚In addition to their academic journey, they both are students of knowledge studying directly and online under  Ustadh Abdulrahman Hassan, Ustadh Muhammad Tim Humble,  authentic female teachers from Kuwait and the UAE and are regular listeners of da’ees who follow Ahlus-Sunnah. They are also full-time mums of young adults and children who try to balance family and da’wah with the intention of spending every second in the dunya in the worship of Allah.
